I wanted to have a local backup system as I do not want to learn the importance of a backup the hard way. I also made a Minecraft server to play with my brothers and friends.

Repurposed an old PC into a local server for hosting and backups.

Configured a headless server with static IP addressing through DHCP for reliable remote access.

Configured secure port forwarding and firewall rules to protect external Minecraft connections.

Established automated disk mounting on startup and normal start-up after power outage for reliable headless operation.

Implemented a robust encrypted backup system using Duplicati for secure file protection.
